Team

Escola Germinare (Germinare School) was born way before the first classes. The choice of different professionals for this institution followed the criteria regarding experience, training and above all, the alignment with an innovative educational project, which differs in many aspects from the conventional teaching proposals.

Management Team

Instituto JBS Director
Vivianne Batista Silveira - Bachelors in International Relations, MBA in Management, since 2004 in the Financial Area of JBS.

Educational Director
Myriam Tricate – Educator and consultant in charge of developing the Education Project. She is the National Coordinator of the Program of Associated Schools of UNESCO and a former director of INADE – Educational Development Institution, among other projects.

Educational Coordinator
Maria Odete Perrone Lopes - Educator, she graduated in Mathematics and Biology. She began her career as Math Teacher. She also postgraduated at Cogeae - PUC, and at Escola da Ponte in Portugal. She was the Educational Coordinator and Member of the Boards of renamed in honor schools in São Paulo.

Teachers

Cleuton Conceição Vieira Junior – History Teacher

He has a degree in History from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), and for ten years he has taught private Elementary II and Secondary Schools in São Paulo and Rio Grande do Norte. He created projects such as “Monografias para o Ensino Médio” (Essays for Secondary Schools) and the project “Cine História” (Cine-History) in schools in which he taught.

Fabiana Campacci Fríscio – Arts Teacher

Graduated in Art Education from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), she is an Educator and Actress. She works in projects with Cia. Ópera do Mendigo, in theater and musicals. She is a Full Professor for Public Elementary and Secondary Schools in São Paulo, and developed workshops and classes at the Centro Cultural São Paulo – CCSP and at Colégio Santa Maria.

Fátima Aparecida Moreira – Math Teacher

Graduated from the Institute of Matemathics and Statistics of USP, Fátima has taught in public schools. She is also a Private Tutor in Algebra, Geometry and Geometric Design for students of well known schools in São Paulo. She worked in the Editorial Production of Magazines as a head of an images treatment team for Globo Organizations.

Francini Thomaz – Geography Teacher

Bachelors and Master in Geography from UNESP, and specialization in Geography Teaching from Universidade Estadual de Londrina. She is working on her PhD in Education at USP. She worked as Teacher and Coordinator for the public schools in São Paulo, and teaches Courses and Workshops of Teacher's Education with emphasis in Cartographic Literacy. She has already written scientific articles and book chapters in the area.

Heloísa Muniz Velanga – English Teacher

Graduated in English Language and Literature at PUC-SP, MBA in Education Principles, Thinking and Interactive Technologies Applied to Education from the same University. Former English Coordinator for Colégio Humboldt and Teacher at Colégio Santa Maria, she is also a Sworn Public Translator and Commercial Interpreter.

Maris Feliciano Crispim Leite – Portuguese Teacher

Portuguese Language and Literature Teacher in Private International Schools, graduated in Languages (French-Portuguese) from USP and is a Master in Linguistic from the same University. She is the co-author of textbooks for Portuguese Language from Editora Moderna/Santillana, and an experienced examiner for the development and correction of tests.

Nídia Marino Person – Sciences Teacher

Graduated from OSEC, with full degree in Biology, teaches Sciences and Biology and has extensive experience with well known schools of São Paulo, such as Visconde de Porto Seguro, Pueri Domus, and Rio Branco. She is a reviewer of a collection of books of Natural Sciences from Moderna publisher, and member of a team that develops the Fieb General Knowledge Tests and the Public Schools of Barueri.

Pedro Rogério da Silveira Castro – Math Teacher

He has a degree in Math and Physics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP), and specialization from USP. For over ten years, he has worked in public and private schools as a Math, Geometric Design, and Physics Teacher for students of Elementary II and Secondary Schools.

Renato Rodrigues de Oliveira – Computer Education Coordinator

BA in Mathematics and specialization in Computer Education. He coordinated projects for the Estação Ciência (Science Station) at USP and has worked in the Computer and Robotics Education areas since 2002, at institutions such as SESI, and public and private schools.

Rodrigo Queiroz Romão – English Teacher

A graduate from Cambridge University, England, and in Languages from USP, he is a Master in Applied Linguistic. Worked for well known schools in São Paulo and is a member of the English Center Forum at Oxford University, and Shakespeare Society at the Queen´s Mary University, among other schools.

Uirá Kuhlmann – Musical Education Teacher

Musical Education teacher since 2002, he has a degree in Classical Piano from Universidade Livre de Música, and is currently pursuing his degree in Music from Universidade Federal de São Carlos. Worked in private schools and social projects, such as Projeto Guri (Kids Project). He holds specializations in Education of Musical Movement, including the International Summer Course Música y danza en la educácion, from Asociación ORFF, in Madrid (Spain).

Valderez Silvério – Portuguese Teacher

She graduated in Education and Languages from PUC-SP, has a MBA in Portuguese Language from the same University, and was Teacher and Coordinator of Portuguese Language area at Colégio Nossa Senhora do Morumbi. She also does reviews of textbooks for Editora Abril.

Walter da Silva Jr. – Physical Education Teacher

P. E. teacher specialized in Volleyball; he has worked in Bilingual Schools for 12 years. He worked as a coach for Indoor Soccer, Soccer, and Volleyball in well known private schools and at the Educational Center for the City of São Paulo.

Support to the Educational Area

Claudia Tricate Malta – Psychologist

Psychologist, Educator, Principal of Colégio Mágico de Oz (Nursery, Kindergarten and Elementary School from First to Fifth Year), she teaches Education at Universidade de Santo Amaro (UNISA). She is a consultant in Nursery, Reading, Work Projects, Full Time, and Evaluation. In recent years, she has been developing consulting projects in several Brazilian states, for public and private schools.

Lab Technicians

Jefferson Barbosa Raimundo – Computer Lab Technician

Bachelor in Computer Network Technology from Uninove, he works as Infrastructure Analyst for JBS, in User Support, Microcomputer and Notebooks Configuration, among other areas. 

Mariana Mackenzie Silva – Sciences Lab Assistant

Bachelor in Sciences and Biology at Faculdade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, and in Biology at Universidade Paulista, she was Lab Assistant at Nova Escola and Sciences Teacher at Associação Crescer Sempre – Projeto Up.
